  • Elite RELT Micro Pressure Control Valve

  • Elite RELT-SLP micro pressure reducing valves are used for accurate pressure control on tank blanketing systems. They have a large diaphragm which provides greater sensitivity and allows them to control at very low set pressures.

    These valves help control emissions, provide protection against atmospheric contamination and maintain a positive tank pressure which reduces the possibility of tank wall collapse during pump out operations, while preventing stored product from vaporizing to atmosphere.

    Other applications include Semi-conductor Industry, Natural gas distribution Systems and Plant Air services.

    Materials: Body-316SS, Seat/Sealing-NBR, Diaphragm-Nylon-CR/Nylon-Viton
    Pressure Adjusting Range: 0.02-0.2 Bar
    Installation: inverted (adj. bolts faces downward)

  • Low Flow, Low Pressure Regulators

  • Two NEW valves have been added to Jordan Valves Low Flow range. Although aimed primarily at the Gas Regulator market, they are also perfectly suited to liquids.

    They are ideally suited to low flow, low pressure applications which require good sensitivity.

    Bodies machined from 316L barstock, Jorlon (modified PTFE) diaphragm, soft seats for class VI shut-off.

  • Overview-Pressure Reducing Valves

  • Pressure Reducing Valves protect pipes and other downstream equipment from overpressure by regulating the higher upstream pressure to a lower, controlled pressure. This reduced pressure is known as the set pressure and is easily adjusted by turning the adjusting bolt, thus compressing the spring (clockwise increases the set pressure, anti-clockwise reduces the set pressure).
    There are some general rules to help select the best regulator and the best control for each application:-
    •  Unlike other valves where the valve size matches the pipe size, these pressure control valves must be “sized”, using the pressure drop (P1- P2) and the flow range required. In many cases, a valve at least one size smaller than pipe diameter is selected. This reduces overall cost, guarantees better pressure control and avoids hunting and poor regulation associated with oversizing.
    •  Self acting valves are the simplest design and represent the lowest cost but they are not as accurate as pilot operated valves.
    •  Always use the lightest spring as this will reduce “droop” (if the set pressure is 7 bar and there are two ranges, spring #1 5 bar-7 bar, spring #2 range 4 bar-10 bar, spring #1 is the best choice). Spring ranges are generally mid compression ranges, not spring limits, so further adjustment outside of the published ranges is always possible.

    The following range is extensive, mainly because every regulator has limitations on sizes, materials of construction, suitability to various media, inlet pressures and reduced pressure ranges.   • 3318 Brass Pressure Reducing Valve

  • Model 3318 is a self acting, piston type pressure reducing valve suitable for water, 50% glycol and air.

    Materials: Body-Brass (plated); Piston-PA-66-GF30 (Nylon 66); Seat-303SS; O-rings-EPDM; Other-hot forged brass
    Sizes: ½” – 4″.
    Maximum inlet pressure – 25 bar (362 psi)
    Maximum temp- 130°C
    Reduced pressure ranges: 1/2″-1″ 50-550 kpa; 1¼”-4″ 50-700 kpa

  • Model RET Pressure Reducing Valve (316ss, screwed)

  • Elite model RET is a 316SS self acting pressure reducing valve suitable for fluids, air and steam.

    It is available in ½” → 2” (Cv’s from 2.4-25.0) and the main materials are 316SS with NBR or Viton diaphragm and seals. Valve has BSP female threaded ends.

    Maximum inlet pressure-2500 kpa (362 psi)
    Maximum temp- 100°C or 180°C for steam
    Reduced pressure ranges – 100-600 kpa; 400-1,000 kpa; 800-1300 kpa
