Rotameters or Variable Area Flow Meters for technically clean fluids are available in a number of different models, involving different tube lengths and connection sizes. Rotameters with Limit Reed Switches & Sensors

All of the above DFM165-350 Rotameters can be supplied with a variety of position indicators, limit reed switches and flow data sensors. As the position of the float needs to be sensed, the standard PVDF float needs to be changed to one with an encapsulated magnet. Some of these accessories are:-
Limit Reed Switch model ZE951 (ID 48119) Bi-stable switch or switches can easily be fitted to the dovetail guide (rail) molded into the flow tube. Max operating voltage 230v AC. Can be used to indicate minimum, maximum or intermediate flow values. A signal occurs when the magnetic float has reached or exceeded the limit switch position.
Flow Data Sensor ZE 2000 - Easily mounted on the dovetail of the flow tube, it measures the present position of the float. Voltage 24vDC, measuring accuracy 1% of measured value, direct analogue output, 6-channel contact plus connection to various measuring instruments or controllers, programmable. Operating conditions (media, concentration, viscosity, density etc) must be provided when placing the order as they are required when making the scales.
Flow Data Sensor ZE 3000- Micro-processor controlled sensor guarantees accurate measurement and can be used to signal the flow at various point and to process the values in a PLC and display the actual values. Uses 2-wire technology, 8..28VDC input & 4-20mA output, 11 point calibration, measuring accuracy better than 0.5%. The particular DFM to which the ZE 3000 is to be fitted, must be advised before purchase.

MDM 902 Diaphragm Seal (UPVC/PP/PVDF)

Stubbe Thermoplastic Diaphragm Seal (also known as Gauge Saver) is used as a barrier between a Pressure Gauge or measuring instrument and corrosive media. The process pressure is transmitted via the diaphragm onto a transmitter fluid (liquid fill) which is then transferred onto the measuring instrument. MDM 902 is suitable for neutral, aggressive liquids or gaseous media without abrasive particles. The process side is made from corrosion resistant plastic such as UPVC, Polypropylene or PVDF, the process side of the diaphragm is PTFE and the bonnet (gauge side) is glass fibre reinforced PP. Process and instrument connections can be either BSP or NPT female sockets- pressure rated to 10 bar

BE891 Air Release / Vent Valve (UPVC/PP/PVDF)
Standard Features & Options:
Stubbe Air Release / Vent Valve opens to allow air to enter the pipe when a vacuum forms and, when filling, allows air to escape until the liquid level rises enough to push the floating ball onto the seat. Actuated C100 Ball Valve
Standard Features & Options:
C100 Ball valves are not direct mountable and a mounting bracket/kit is required to couple to Pneumatic (DA or SR) or Electric Actuators (12vDC, 24vAC, 24vDC, 110vAC 240vAC).
Thermoplastic valves are usually mounted with corrosion resistant, plastic Pneumatic Actuators (polyamide series, prefixed PP) but they can also be supplied with actuators made from standard rilsan coated aluminium or 316 Stainless Steel.
In addition to pneumatic actuators, a full range of accessories is also available such as Limit Switches, Pilot Solenoid Valves (Namur & remote mounted), Pneumatic or Electro-Pneumatic Positioner, Filter Regulator and Pressure Gauge, speed controls etc

SP820 Venturi Injector (UPVC/PP/PVDF)
Standard Features & Options:
Stubbe SP820 is a thermoplastic liquid Injector (Eductor) which uses the venturi principle to allow a secondary media to enter and mix in the main flow stream. It can be used for mixing, dosing and delivering fluids or for evacuating air in lines or tanks. A common use is to allow the correct dosage of fertilizer/nutrients to be delivered to specific vegetables in a market garden.
It is self priming, maintenance free with the housing/nozzle made from UPVC, PP or PVDF with EPDM or FPM sealings. Union ends with solvent weld connectors are standard up to and including DN50. Sizes DN65-80 has DIN spigot ends, so a union is required to allow connection to BS/Ansi dimensioned UPVC pipe.
Working principle: A nozzle (with specific sized bore) is installed in the SP820 injector. The liquid from the main flow-stream is accelerated by the diameter reduction of the nozzle. This acceleration causes low pressure at the suction spigot which allows the mixing liquid to be drawn into the flow-stream. The suction volume is calculated by using the driving liquid pressure and the diameter of the nozzle bore.
