Rilsan coating on standard Prisma Actuator
Standard Features & Options:
The body and end caps of Prisma aluminium actuators are double coated internally & externally (epoxy 20µ applied by cataphoresis + Rilsan 250µ). Cataphoresis is an electrochemical coating process for metallic surfaces, widely used due to its penetration, uniform coating and long service life. Rilsan (nylon 11) is the final coating material, offering these benefits to the standard actuator:-
• Stability at higher temperatures
• High impact & abrasion resistance
• Good resistance to climate extremes (including off shore)
• Excellent chemical resistance

Standard Features & Options:
Prisma’s new PA series pneumatic actuator is used to operate quarter turn valves such as ball, butterfly and plug valves. The features of the standard range of actuators are as follows:-
• Models available in both Double Acting and Spring Return.
• The smallest actuator is PA-W, through to the largest PA-70
• Torques from 15.5Nm→4,600Nm (at 5.5 bar)
• Operated by clean air, water or non aggressive fluid up to 8 bar max.
• ISO-5211 / Namur
• Bolt on end caps
• Safe and easy removal of spring from contained spring packs
• Can be fitted with limit switches, solenoid valves, positioners
• Can be fitted with manual override gearbox
• Stroke adjustment standard in all models (except PA-W).
• 5.5 bar pressure assumed for sizing/selection

Plastic- Polyamide (PP-series)
Standard Features & Options:
Prisma’s PP series can be used to operate quarter turn valves in any material but is frequently used to operate Thermoplastic Valves, due to its corrosion resistant properties. The features of the standard range of actuators are as follows:-
• Models available in both Double Acting and Spring Return.
• The smallest actuator is PP-W, through to the largest PP-20
• Torques from 15.5Nm→150Nm (at 5.5 bar)
• Operated by clean air, water or non aggressive fluid up to 8 bar max.
• ISO-5211 / Namur
• Spring caps, held on by coated steel or stainless steel spring clips
• Can be fitted with limit switches, solenoid valves, positioners
• Can be fitted with manual override gearbox
• 5.5 bar pressure assumed for sizing/selection
316SS (NPI-series)
Standard Features & Options:
Prisma’s NPI series pneumatic actuator is used to operate quarter turn valves such as ball, butterfly and plug valves and is sometimes preferred for additional corrosion protection. The features of the standard range of actuators are as follows:-
• Body (CF8M), Shaft (316ss), Bolts (316ss)
• Models available in both Double Acting and Spring Return.
• The smallest actuator is NPI-00, through to the largest NPI-30
• Torques from 22Nm→428Nm (at 5.5 bar)
• Operated by clean air, water or non aggressive fluid up to 8 bar max.
• ISO-5211 / Namur
• Bolt on end caps
• Safe and easy removal of spring from contained spring packs
• Can be fitted with limit switches, solenoid valves, positioners
• Can be fitted with manual override gearbox
• Opening and closing stroke adjustments.

Standard Features & Options:
The brand new addition to Prisma’s PA series pneumatic actuator is PA-60 and PA-60/S. It is designed to fill the torque gap between P-50 and PA-70.
PA-60 series actuator is used to operate larger diameter, quarter turn valves such as ball, butterfly and plug valves. The features of this new actuator is as follows:-
• Available in both Double Acting (PA-60) and Spring Return (PA-60/S).
• Torques to 3,155Nm (at 5.5 bar)
• Operated by clean air, water or non aggressive fluid up to 8 bar max.
• ISO-5211 / Namur
