Eurotec Namur Throttle Plates for speed control (installed between solenoid valve & pneumatic actuator)

Eurotec’s Namur throttle plates are ideal for controlling the opening & closing speeds of pneumatic actuators. The key is to control the flow out of the actuator’s exhaust ports but there are two instances when this causes a problem. Firstly, if the actuator is fitted directly to a Namur style pilot solenoid valve, restricting the exhaust flow can put unwanted backpressure on the SV’s internals. This situation is even less effective when the actuator is a tiny one as the internal volume of the SV allows the actuator to fully stroke before the flow restriction has an effect.

The Namur throttle plate solves both of these potential problems.
Suitable for Double Acting (DPN52) and Spring Return (DPN32) Pneumatic Actuators

Materials: anodised aluminium, NBR seals, 304SS screws (SS on request)
Pressure: 0.5 – 10 bar

CLMA-N – Tube Fitting (Male Elbow)

Hylok model CLMA is a male elbow….used to join a fractional (⅛”, ¼” etc) stainless steel tube to a female NPT fitting. The data sheet list all of the options but the common fitting used for actuation assemblies is as follows:-

CLMA 4-4N (¼” tube x ¼”male NPT thread)

* Options: BSP connection (CLMA 4-4R); Brass fitting (CLMA 4-4N-BRAS)

Metalwork Push-in Air Line Fittings (Rotary Elbow)

VSR Quick Exhaust Valve

Metalwork’s VSR Quick Exhaust Valve is used to evacuate air in a cylinder (actuator) quickly, increasing operating speed. Discharge rates at specific pressures shown in download sheet.

Material: ⅛”→ ¼” Nickel plated body/cap, NBR seal, female BSP connection

SDK/SDL/DRSD Air Silencers

Eurotec’s range of air exhaust silencers can be used on solenoid valve or pneumatic actuator air discharge ports. In addition to reducing noise levels, they keep the ports free from blockages caused by debris, insects etc.

Models SDL/SDK/DRSD are made from sintered bronze material and model SEX from 316ss.
